Hello Sweet Bloggers, it's back to work for me. I took a short break and now I am back to making dolls. This is my latest Rag Muffin she is almost complete. Not sure if I want to add red or black ties to her pinafore still have to decide on hair and a few other small touches. Along with working on her I am also working on more Mammy Dolls gosh I love making those but it can be a little time consuming at times. Either way it gives me Joy to be able to bring to life my vision.
Can you believe it's August already soon fall will be calling out to us. I can't wait for my favorite holiday which is Christmas I have been wanting to make a Santa for a long time maybe this will be the year I finally give it a try. I want to thank everyone who leaves me Comments and words of motivation it truly keeps me going when at times I want to just toss it all up in the air and quit. Also, a big hello to my new followers enjoy your weekend all be safe be creative
Peace and Blessings

ReplyDeleteDear Cheryl, I hope you stay inspired , and motivated to NEVER stop creating your dolls! They are truly unique, and have a place in the doll world! I know if you just keep pushing forward, they will skyrocket soon. I had many times when I thought..why do I keep making these dolls, spending the time, and money to make them, when it seems few want them?..well, I can't say everyone wants them, but with perserverence, and dedication, I am slowly improving, and more and more people see what we do, and love what we do...Mammy dolls are WONDERFUL dolls, filled with tradition, and history.. unique, heirloom dolls keep on keepin on Cheryl, God will shine down on you! xoxox Christel
