So now I am going to start in the one place I truly find hard to do that is my studio/sewing room.  The more fabric I buy seem to be the more I need and really I find I don't need it.  Here I have listed some fabric that I will soon list in my shop.

The above fabric shown is truly nice I have 3 yards and about 14inches of this.  I brought this fabric thinking I could make some pillows and cover a bench cushion.  Well that never happened.  Next don't ask me what was I thinking I brought a bolt of the quilted fabric along with a bolt of the matching fabric.  The quilted fabric is 14yds and the coordinating fabric is 26yds.....So as you can see I need fabric therapy.  I will list more later.  My question to you is....Do you also do Spring Cleaning?  Have a great evening all

Peace and Blessings

Always Something

Hello Dear Ones, it feels like months again since I last blogged.  Remember Rosanna from Saturday Night Live
and her phrase "Always something, every time I turn around its always something"  That is how I have been feeling lately.  First the weather had me down.  Which cause my Arthur to pay me a visit .  Sometimes my hands cramp up so bad it just makes tears flow from my eyes.  Then my computer began acting up, well I am just going to keep a positive attitude and hopes that things can only get better now.

So now I am trying to learn how to blog again.  Carolyn can you or someone tell how to be a reply blogger.  I really want to learn how to make a better blogging page.  Also, please forgive me for not responding to a few of my older post.  I promise I am trying to do better with this.  As I have been mentioning before that I am giving away randomly through out the next few months.  Amy won the first give away I will be doing another one next week maybe two.  Again you don't have to do anything but pay for shipping.  (smile) How wonderful is that.  Here is a photo of the first give away

I wish you all a great evening and I will be back real soon.

Peace and Blessings

Baking and Sewing

Hello out there in Blog land.  It is a very cold day here in Maryland and for most of the east coast.  So far we have snow fall totals of 20 inches and it has not slowed  down as of yet.  I decided that I would do some baking and sewing today.

Thought I would treat everyone to some homemade pumpkin muffins and coffee.  The smell through the house was Wonderful.  I have been working on a project and I will be so glad when I am able to share it.  I love so far how it is turning out.  Okay I will at least tell you what it is.  I am making Aprons for us Plus size Ladies.  I love aprons I can never seem to get enough of them but I also would love to have a few that are girly and just plain cute.  Maybe I will get one finished this weekend.  This storm has everyone in my surrounding area locked in.  One thing about being a crafty person you don't get bored at times like these, you actual get more creative.

I am still putting together more goodies for the upcoming giveaways.  Tell me what do you like to do when your not able to get out because of the weather.  Have a great day all  Peace and Blessings

The Worst Birthday Ever!!!

I really wanted to visit this school I had seen it 40 years ago and wanted to know if it was still there it is a historical elementary school.  My interest in the school is the name it is my family name not many people have the name Whaley.  I can remember growing up and always checking the phone book to see how many Whaley's I could find.
Hello Lovelies I am back from the worst Birthday ever.  I am still upset and so please forgive me how this post is even put together.  To start off I arrived in Williamsburg on Friday weather was nice and I was very tired and hungry after a 5 hour train ride.  I just wanted to check in and get changed up and go out to eat.  Well, when I get there first thing I notice the lack of wash cloths and the two that were there were just horrible.  I began unpacking and notice no hangers!!! What hotel not have hangers.  So I call around to the front desk and explained what was going on.  Grrr this Guy Chris tells me they don't have any extra wash cloths and no more hangers.  What the hell!! are you kidding me. So I get on the phone and call the complaint department for Red Roof.  Now understand I love Red Roof I use them all the time for quick trips.  Never had a problem with them and the prices are great.  So after I filed my complaint 5 mins later here comes this Chris guy with four dingy wash cloths and a arm of brand new hangers.  I also pointed out to him while I was in the room the lack of outlets there was nothing for me to plug anything into.  Ummm what good is a desk if you cant use it no outlets.  Too tired to deal with it I just took the rags and threw the hangers on the bed and left to eat.  Few hours later I return to the room the key doesn't work!! So now I have to go face this Chris guy again.

Well I go into the office and he hands me my bill and tells me that I am being evicted from the hotel.  What the............. okay okay let me collect myself.  I asked why and he says to  me "you will never be satisfied and I just want your ass out of here"  I grabbed my bill and my one time key to open the door to collect my things and tried very hard not to cry.  I called back the to the complaint line and added this last episode to my case.  The woman on the other end was very apologetic to my situation but explained to me that there was nothing they could do to help since each of these places are individually owned. Then there was this loud bang on my door it was Chris again this time he says "I told you I want you out of here and you have 10 mins to get your shit and get out"  Shaken and almost wanting to faint Mister just said lets hurry up out of here.  My health is not the best and that is one of the reasons I haven't been around much.  Three months ago I had a heart attack and right there after I came down with a bout of pneumonia.  I just want to remain calm and be at peace.

Fast forward today I check my bank account and the charges for my hotel were posted on my account.  I did however, fine another place but that took some time since this is off season in Williamsburg everything is almost like a ghost town.

Will Williamsburg still be one of my favorite places to go yes will I return?  It will be a very long time before I do.  While I was there I went to my favorite store William Sonoma I brought an apron I have to have an apron and could never have too many.

He is playing with a motor lol trying to not be bored men have their home depots women have William Sonoma.

I enjoyed a movie and a nice prime rib dinner on Saturday.  I am looking forward to a better week.

Peace and Blessings

Cupcakes Popping up Everywhere!!

Cupcake Muffins sit and wait looking for someone to take them home.  Maybe one or two its all up to you.  They are so cute and small and not one of them will make any type of fuss at all.  Each one made with loving care right down to their wooly hair.  Cute as button wouldn't you like one to come home with you.  15.00 dollars each two for 25.00 but of course there is a traveling fee that will be very small.  They can fit in to a padded envelope.  Traveling here in the states if you want them to travel abroad we will have to discuss all the particulars.  So if one of these cupcakes caught your eye send me a note I will answer all replies.

Enjoy your evening all going back to make more Cupcakes lol

This and That and That and This

Happy Tuesday what a great weekend I had it was scorching hot but I loved it.  Today is even hotter I think.  Mister didn't have to work today so he started out early this morning pulling weeds from the flower beds.  Boy oh boy was that a chore.  We have been having a lot of rain so things are growing like crazy even the weeds.

With this house I have been bouncing all over the place from one room to the next.  I think that I will start focusing on one room at a time it is hard.  I wanted it to be my bedroom but I think I am going to move on to the Dinning Room and hopefully the living room.  I found the perfect wall paper that I will be using in the Dinning Room

This is what is in the room now I have grown tired of the bland grass paper Not a good photo.
So I just want to brighten things up a bit.  Every wall in this house with the exception of the main Bathroom is Beige time to make this place truly mines.

I am also thinking about having a online Flea Market.  I really need to downsize on a lot of things around here.  Starting with some of the fabric I have.  I have a bolt of quilted calico fabric along with the matching fabric.  I know I am not going to use it maybe someone will be interested in it.  I am just throwing thoughts out there.

Time to get busy have a great day Peace and Blessings

Decisons Decisions .......sigh

#49 wallpaper of 2014 | CASABELLA | AmericanBlinds.comWhat a delightful touch of whimsy. The generously sized flowers, some a foot across, spring from a garden of fantasy colors. Five choices include pearl white with teal, yellow/green, and brown or grey and brown on a creamy pearl white.Rhododendrum Script - Pattern HA1289 - Book Name: Inspired By Color//Green - York Wallcovering - On sale for the month of March at www.AmericanBlinds.com

As you can see right now I am having a hard time choosing the perfect wallpaper for my Master Bedroom.  So I decided that this time before I take a leap and purchase any wallpaper I am going to buy the samples.  I can be so cheap at the wrong times only to make a costly mistake later on.  My Bedroom has been a work in progress for sometime now.  Slowly it is coming together and I do mean slowly.  The colors I have in my room is White, Lavender, light grey.  I only want to use the paper on one wall.  Just haven't decided which wall.  I am having Mister build me a closet  something close to one of these
mirrored closet doors
Built in closet.

doors with built in mirrors | Built in wardrobes sydney , Builtin wardrobes sydney, walkin wardrobes ...

This last one here I love how the interior of it is done

I absolutely love it!!! I would hand paint it burgundy and put black and white scroll work on the interior Wardrobe to match my upstairs bathroom.

Now  I was able to get my rolling bed table made and I must say I simply love it!

Well with patience it all shall fall in place soon.  I love my house the only thing I don't like about it is the lack of closets.  Not even a linen closet.  I am not great at organization.  I cant put things into bins and tubs because I will forget about them.  Well I am going to call it a night for now.  Until later I wish Peace and Blessings

Time to return from the Social Network

This is message I guess is for me and for anyone out there taking the time to read.  This is what I seem to like about Blogging and for the life of me I don't know why I even stopped.

After my time on Face Book I just couldn't take anymore of the madness that goes on and that I have no CONTROL over what I see run through the news feeds.  I mean everyone has their own opinions  and so do I and I don't want to be in the business of deleting people because of things that they love.  So I decided it is just better if I come  back here.

Since I am back I am going to try and get back into the swing of things.  I have not made any dolls in awhile but I still have a nice inventory of dolls to get things started again.

A lot has changed in my life since those days of Blogging some of you may know I no longer have my locs I had to cut them it was painful but it had to be done after bouts with medication therapy I couldn't take waking up finding a loc laying on my pillow.  I had them for Eight years and I loved each one.  I cried the day I sat in front of my vanity mirror and starting clipping them off one by one the tears just poured.  That journey was over and now I am on to a new path.  This Blog is going to be about that new Journey.

Until later

Peace and Blessings
