Work Still Going on In The Studio

Hello People out there in Blog land lol.  I thought I would show off my new Office Chair I just love this chair after my other chair had start loosing it's glory it was time to say goodbye.  I have been looking at white leather chairs for some time now but did not want to spend an arm and a leg for one.  This one is from Target and it is perfect although it is not true leather it feels fabulous the back support is wonderful and it was under 200 bucks compared some I have been pricing for way over 200.

I am still working at this room but it is coming along great.  I am still undecided what to do about the floor I think I may just leave it as is with all the mishaps that's on it.  Besides nobody comes in here but me this is my very own private sanctuary lol.

Now if your still with me then you will see this

Yes that's right My Giveaway and just a few more weeks I will be picking one lucky person to have her home with them.  But............................I am also considering giving away another surprise also.  I know I keep teasing and talking about my giveaway and your probably saying oh I am sick of waiting.  Well like they say good things comes to those who wait lol.  Now I hope that all of my followers are also followers over at Sew We Quilt http://www.sewwequilt.com/ please be sure to become a follower there also that is very important.  I will give you more updates as I get things in order.  This is going to be a good one I wish you all a lovely week ahead
Peace and Blessings

  11. Whoa...I have missed visiting Madamme Samm's the last couple of weeks but I was so delighted that I stopped in this morning. I may never have found your blog if I hadn't and I am in love with all of your creations, but your Mammy dolls...my gosh, I got a little weepy when I saw the beautiful giveaway from you today. I slept with two rag dolls my entire growing up life...honestly, until I was 18 and they were so worn and tattered from hugs and loves that I had to wrap them up and store them. One was a little doll my mother had made with yellow yarn for her hair and the other was a Mammy doll, given to my mother for my birthday by the only black woman she worked with at the Air Force Base near our home. They were dear friends, as were my two dolls. I'm following your blog now but I have also added you to my favorites. I've wandered around here for a while and know that this is a place I want to visit often. Thank you so much for your generous giveaway gift. I will be holding my breath hoping to win.
**note...the two tattered dolls I so carefully stored away when I was 18, were both destroyed by moisture under our first home, along with pictures of my ancestors, all my school yearbooks and many other important papers and items. But I mourned the loss of my two dolls more than any of the other items we lost. I'm now 60 years old and still think of Melissa(the blonde) and Abigale (the Mammy) with love. Big Hugs...

  14. Hi Cheryl, I have come from Madame Samm's to visit you. Your dolls are beautiful and I love the stories that go along with them. I will certainly come back and spend more time looking at your blog. I just finished the book "Help" and just loved it but was a little sad the way it ended in some respects. I haven't seen the movie yet but hope to soon. Blessings Sandra
