RAG MUFFINS

Hello Sweet Friends, Let me introduce you to something I am now working on along with my other dolls.  I have been dreaming a lot lately about my Mum who passed away last November and although I still have not yet mourned who her passing here lately she has been in my dreams. Not all of the dreams been bad some just as though she was sending me some type of message.  I don't know all I know my dreams have been filled with her.

My last dream happened a few days ago and I won't get into it way too long to talk about but I woke up with the words Rag Muffin. When I was a very young child my Mum would tell me that an outfit that I had on that was just not right to her pleasing and she would say "Oh go take that off looking like a little Old Rag Muffin.  It then came to me later that day while working on a doll that I had changed at least 4 times to end up with what I have now.

I guess this is my interpretation of a Rag doll.  I love it!  The one in purple is waiting on me to decide what type of hair to use on her.  Have a Great Day all!  I am still getting the details together for my GIVE AWAY
Peace and Blessings
Cheryl...Snatch JOY~!

  2. we too referr to our grandkids as lil' rag-a-muffins! but if they are dressed in a manner less than clean and proper looking to my husband, he will say " go put something clean on that child so we don't look like we just rolled in off the turnip truck!" haha Love the look of the Rag Muffins Cheryl! xoxox Christel

  4. It's a great name, very catchy, and which BTW comes from the Middle English name Ragamuffyn (first used in 1581) meaning: a poorly clothed, often dirty child. I think many of our parents used this word, I know my own did, but always in a kindly way. To me it's one of those words that is a little cheeky and warm that reminds me of Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn and Oliver Twist.
