Peaking in

I guess you can tell from the picture I AM TIRED whew.  I think for the rest of the weekend I am going to try and not do any sewing.  I just burned out right now I have been sewing all week and when you get to this point you start making mistakes.  Just today I made a slip for a Mammy doll only after putting the whole thing together it is way too long.  Oh well I can do one or two things I can make another doll with a much longer skirt or I could do a pin tuck around it hmmm that's a lot work.  Too tired to figure it all out right now and the darn heat is back so I am going to take it easy and relax.  Have a wonderful weekend all
Peace and Blessings

  1. AAh Cheryl, I know what you mean. Remember those old cartoons where the little devil sits on ones shoulder and an angel on the other? It's like the little devil keeps telling you to keep going cause you have all these ideas swimming in your head, and you really want to try them (before you forget that you had them in the first place) and the little angel is saying "No, your tired if you push it you're going to really mess something up!" When it gets to that point, (you know, that you're seeing little characters) I suppose it's best t kick back and rest! Enjoy the weekend!

Enjoy the weekend and by Monday you will be raring to go...lol
I always know I am tired when I make two right arms or two left legs...that makes for so much more work.

    Well, try to keep cool...lol

  5. This is just the cutest blog I've ever seen! And I love your dolls. I've never made a doll because they look so hard and like they'd take lots of time and I can tell that yours have lots of love added in. I'll be back to visit again! blessings, marlene
